Why exercise in the Water? Exercise done in the water decreases joint pain and stiffness while also improving joint flexibility and strength. These exercises greatly improve balance and coordination! They take advantage of the gentle resistance and buoyancy of the water, making it easier for participants to move painful joints. Buoyancy relieves weight bearing strain which allows a greater range of motion than land! No swimming skills required, the water is 3′ 6″ deep.
